Thunderbird on a Mac is like a straight guy in a lesbian bar. It just doesn't make any sense.

Not only that, but a couple of features were never properly transitioned to the OSX/Apple way of life (including signatures and IMAP controls).

You reek of Apple fan boy as days pass, Tom. I will personally go over to Lubbock and beat your head into sense. Kidding.

Apple Mail (in my few uses) has a nice UI, great flow and feel, but that specific lack of separated folder sets for multiple IMAP accounts breaks my soul.

The OS-tools are always somewhat crippled, hence why alternatives exist, if they were good enough, there would not be alternatives, but then again, there's always someone bound to build one, since, not everybody likes everything.
